I've had the pleasure of working alongside Jonali for various projects over 11 years.  She is a very driven and talented professional with a keen ability to break down both the artistry and technical aspects of 3D Animation; as many of her students over the years have graduated and found success in getting into the industry thanks to her teachings. Despite her experience, she continues to seek out and learn new skills to improve herself both in education and business. She's great to work with, supportive, very energetic, and it'd be great to work with her again in the future!

​Jonali and I taught a class together at Cogswell College. I enjoyed the passion and skill she brought to every class and assignment. She cares for her students and yet is not willing to coddle them. She holds them to a fair standard while pushing them to get better with each piece of feedback she shares. She has a good understanding of how weight and physicality works in animation. Her previous science background has been used well to inform her life as an animator. Jonali is also an extremely positive person. She has an easy-going sensibility that puts everyone at ease when they are around her. You will be lucky to have her in your workplace.

I've known Jonali since I hired her for the Digital Arts and Animation program in 2009. Jonali is an ace animator and probably the hardest working faculty member I've known. I have worked with Jonali since 2009, first at Cogswell College and then at San José City College. She is not only a wonderful colleague (positive, encouraging, supportive) but also an inspiration to her students who look up to her and highly respect her work and work ethic. In both institutions, I saw how she fully engaged with the staff and faculty, bringing ideas and enthusiasm to all division and department meetings. In the classroom, she challenges her students to strive for high standards. As a community college instructor, she has also found ways to help those with learning difficulties to give them the confidence to do the best that they can do and have fun!

Jonali is extremely efficient at getting things done, and she does them well. She animates very cleanly, which makes the iterative process of prototyping very easy. Jonali is also great at making finished animations. She was expert at understanding and animating quadruped motion, and she can do a neat, clean and GOOD run cycle faster than anyone I've worked with thus far. I'd work with Jonali again, anytime. (Did I mention that she's also a lot of fun to work with?)

Jonali is a fantastic animator; a true natural. I worked with her on the Iron Man team at Secret Level. She always produced high quality animations in a very timely manner, her first pass were so good I had to sometime ask if it was first pass or final. I personally worked closely with Jonali on a year-long project that involved creating animation rigs for classes at Cogswell College. This project involved a ton of back and forth iteration in order to produce the best rigs possible. I always found that her feedback was timely and incredibly clear, and I credit that experience as being elemental in my growth as a rigging artist. The fact that she is so meticulous in her standards make her an asset in any environment.
